Our 8th annual event has been improved to now offer you a full weekend of the mid-century experience in central Iowa! Learn more about Iowa Mid-Century Modern.
Saturday, September 21: Shop Hop + Cocktails (Free)
From 12–6 PM, travel around Des Moines and get special deals, complimentary snacks and drinks of the era, and discover one-of-a-kind finds at the participating stores! Get your passport stamped and turn it in for a free drink ticket. This year's shops include AOK Antiques, Atomic Garage, Funky Finds, Modville, Rogue Planet, Rumors Vtg., Skylabs, and 35th Street Antiques.
From 7–9 PM, enjoy cocktails at Hello, Marjorie. Home Tour ticket holders and completed shop hop passport holders can redeem their free drink tickets for a specialty cocktail during this time period.
Sunday, September 22: Home Tour (Tickets required)
This year’s home tour will feature mid-century gems around the metro open to ticket holders from 12–5 PM. Tickets will be available September 1st at 12:00 PM. Last year’s home tour sold out in 36 hours, so be sure to get your tickets fast for this exclusive event! Proceeds from the home tour will benefit the Iowa Architectural Foundation.
